Imperio is Federal Bank's family focused card, and its 3-2-1 reward structure matches that pitch: healthcare and grocery spends earn the top rate, utility bills earn the middle rate, and everything else earns the base rate. Points are worth Rs 0.25 each at Federal Rewards, so the return is a modest 0.75% at best, but the card costs nothing to hold. The card has been lifetime free for customers onboarded since April 2023 under a limited period offer that is still running. Extra value comes from small, practical perks: a Rs 400 Amazon Pay voucher to start, INOX buy one get one once a quarter, BigBasket vouchers on Rs 50,000 quarterly spends, and two domestic lounge visits in the next quarter when you spend Rs 40,000 in a quarter.
