How Credwiser handles data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Statutory Framework & Zero-PII Mandate
Unlike traditional Indian loan and card aggregators, Credwiser maintains a Zero-PII mandate. Our calculators, comparison tools and wizard run locally in your browser. We do not require your phone number, PAN, Aadhaar, or bank credentials, and we never sell personal data.
2. Local Client-Side Calculation Engine
Spend values you type into calculators stay in your device memory and local storage on your own device (for example your compare list). They are not transmitted to our servers.
3. Rights of the Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you may request access, correction, and erasure of any personal data you voluntarily submit (for example via the contact form), and escalate grievances to our Data Protection Officer.
