Ashva is the more accessible of IDFC FIRST Bank's two metal cards. It keeps the traveller friendly core of the range, including zero forex markup on purchases, and adds 4 domestic and 2 international lounge visits every quarter, unlocked by spending Rs. 20,000 in the previous month. Rewards run at 5X points per Rs. 150 up to Rs. 20,000 of monthly spends and 10X above that, the same structure as its bigger sibling, though a point here is worth Rs. 0.40 on travel bookings through the bank's app and Rs. 0.25 on other redemptions. Points never expire while the card is active. The fee is Rs. 2,999 plus GST, payable upfront on approval before the card is dispatched, with up to 7,500 points as a joining benefit spread across the first three statement cycles. A milestone of 7,500 points at Rs. 8 lakh of annual spends helps regular users, but there is no spend based fee waiver. Extras include a buy one get one movie offer up to Rs. 400 twice a month via District, trip cancellation cover up to Rs. 25,000, travel insurance and golf rounds that unlock with monthly spends. Note the bank has flagged a change from 26 October 2026, after which international spends earn 2X points instead of 5X.
