Mayura is IDFC FIRST Bank's premium metal card, positioned for travellers who spend abroad. Its headline strength is a genuine zero forex markup, paired with one of the most generous lounge allowances in this price range: 4 domestic and 4 international visits every quarter, plus a domestic guest visit each quarter, unlocked by spending Rs. 20,000 in the previous month. Rewards run at 5X points per Rs. 150 up to Rs. 20,000 of monthly spends and 10X above that, with 30X on hotels and 15X on flights booked through the bank's Travel and Shop app section, capped at 25,000 bonus points a month. Points are worth Rs. 0.50 each on app travel bookings and Rs. 0.25 elsewhere, and they never expire. The card costs Rs. 5,999 plus GST a year and the joining fee is payable upfront before the metal card is dispatched. Joining benefits of up to 12,000 points soften the first year cost, and milestone points arrive at Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh of annual spends, but there is no spend based fee waiver, so the fee is a fixed yearly cost. You also get a buy one get one movie offer up to Rs. 500 twice a month, golf benefits through Mastercard World, free trip cancellation cover up to Rs. 50,000 and interest free ATM cash withdrawals for up to 45 days with a Rs. 199 fee per withdrawal.
