The IndiGo Kotak Credit Card is the base variant of the relaunched Kotak and IndiGo co-branded range, built around the IndiGo BluChip loyalty programme. The card itself earns 3 BluChips per Rs. 100 on IndiGo bookings, 2 per Rs. 100 on dining and entertainment and 1 per Rs. 100 on other spends, and these stack with the BluChips you earn as a BluChip member, for booking on the IndiGo app or website and for your tier status, taking the total to up to 19 BluChips per Rs. 100 on a flight booking. Kotak values 1 BluChip at Rs. 1 against flight fares, so the card earn alone is worth about 3 percent on IndiGo spends. The Rs. 1,500 annual fee is partly offset by a 2,500 BluChips voucher on joining and again on every renewal, plus milestone vouchers of 2,500 BluChips each at annual spends of Rs. 1.25 lakh, Rs. 2.5 lakh and Rs. 6 lakh. There is no lounge access and no spend based fee waiver, and rent, wallet, education, government, utility, B2B and insurance spends do not earn BluChips. A RuPay variant is available and earns BluChips on UPI transactions as well.

How many BluChips do I earn on IndiGo flight bookings?

The card earns 3 BluChips per Rs. 100 on IndiGo channels. On top of that you earn BluChips as a BluChip member (8 per Rs. 100), for booking on the IndiGo app or website (4 per Rs. 100) and a tier bonus of up to 4 per Rs. 100, taking the combined total to up to 19 BluChips per Rs. 100.

Is the annual fee waived on spends?

No. There is no spend based waiver on this card. You do get a renewal voucher of 2,500 IndiGo BluChips every year when you pay the Rs. 1,500 annual fee.

Can I use this card on UPI?

Yes, if you take the RuPay variant. UPI transactions on the RuPay variant earn BluChips at the base rate of 1 BluChip per Rs. 100.
